On July 29, 2024, 12 acts performed in the Big Show “Seniors Got Talent” at the Silverdale Center Creekside Theater.
Congratulations to all contestants for a superb performance!
First place and the $1000 cash prize went to Susan Taylor, age 63, with her electrifying performance of “Try a Little Tenderness.”
Second place and the $500 cash prize went to dancers Richard and Laurie Collett, ages 76 and 71. We were so impressed by their chemistry, talent, and connection to their craft as they danced to “You’ll Never Walk Alone” from “Carousel.”
Third place and the $250 cash prize went to Agene Parsons, age 87, with her hammered dulcimer. Agene wowed the crowd with her “Steel Guitar Rag” performance.
Let’s hear it for our 2024 Morning Pointe Foundation Seniors Got Talent Chattanooga People’s Choice winner, with over 500 votes, 60-year-old lip-syncer Bryan Skinner!
Bryan stole the hearts of the crowd with his entertaining lip-syncing performance of “Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da.”

First place and the $1000 cash prize went to The Overtones, ages 65-84, for an absolutely stellar barbershop quartet performance of “Swing Low, Sweet Chariot!”
Second place and the $500 cash prize went to Collins and Cox, ages 63 and 65, for their incredible musical medley of “Jambalaya,” Tiger by the Tail,” and “Thank God I’m a Country Boy!”
Third place and the $250 cash prize went to Keith Williams, age 64, for his fantastic performance of his original song, “I Don’t Have To Put Up With You”
Let’s hear it for our 2024 Morning Pointe Foundation Seniors Got Talent Lexington People’s Choice winner, Annette Dence, age 65, with her breathtaking performance of “Don’t It Make My Brown Eyes Blue.”

Second place and the $500 cash prize went to Bobby and Karen Leib, ages 61 and 64, with their lively dance routine to ‘Kiss Goodbye All Night’!
Third place and the $250 cash prize went to Paula Chavis, 78-year-old singer, with her incredible performance of the classic song, ‘I Will Survive.’
Let’s hear it for our 2024 Morning Pointe Foundation Seniors Got Talent Franklin People’s Choice winner, 75-year-old singer, Bill Schneider.
Schneider absolutely stole the show with his solid performance of ‘Statue of a Fool’ and captured the most votes—$1 per vote—all for a great cause!

About Seniors Got Talent
The Morning Pointe Foundation proudly presents Seniors Got Talent – an annual talent competition showcasing local seniors across the area.
- Celebrates seniors across four cities in front of a live audience at mostly historic theatres
- Expected attendance 500+ depending on size of venue
- Rich sponsorship recognition opportunities with pre- and post-marketing package
Join us in helping to raise needed funds for the work of the Morning Pointe Foundation, providing nursing and other scholarships and caregiver support programs.
Prizes:
- 1st Place – $1,000
- 2nd Place – $500
- 3rd Place – $250
Tryout Qualifications:
- Open to anyone over 60
- Acts may not exceed 3 minutes
- All equipment, music, etc. must be provided by the act
- For groups, there is a max of 6 people in each group
